Establish DoorDash as an essential part of the gaming ecosystem as gamers’ go-to convenience partner for all of their gaming ritual needs.

What we did

As DoorDash first ever Gaming Culture Agency of Record, we designed, created and produced the “Stay in Your Game” omnichannel campaign that targeted both B2C and B2B customers. 

How we did it

Utilising key audience insights our strategy was built on authentic engagement both online and at key events where gamers were highly engaged. Reward and recognition were embedded throughout the campaign from DoorDash vouchers, exclusive influencer streams and VIP event access.

A highlight was the production of “Battle of the Brands”. From the experiential build, to the broadcast streams and digital activations, we produced a three-weekend gaming tournament that paired streamers with top fast-food brands, all providing unique promotional codes for gamers to redeem. One of the major developments was introducing a live stream to TikTok to coincide with our social media strategy.

We built a “DoorDash Cafe” at major gaming events including PAX East, PAX West, NYCC, Florida Supercon, and TwitchCon.

As well as managing community channels including Discord, our campaign featured ad spots across Twitch, TikTok and other major platforms that spoke authentically to gaming audiences featuring key streamer talent.
