BlizzCon 2026: Bringing one of gaming’s biggest live events to audiences around the world.

OVERVIEW
In 2026, BlizzCon returned to Anaheim, bringing the Blizzard community together for a weekend of major announcements, live entertainment, esports, content and celebration.
Working in close partnership with Blizzard, OS Studios created, designed, built and delivered the physical and production world of BlizzCon 2026.
From early creative development and experience design through technical design, fabrication, production, broadcast and live execution, our teams worked across the convention to transform Blizzard’s vision into an experience built for thousands of fans in Anaheim and millions more around the world.
THE CHALLENGE
BlizzCon is not simply an event. It is the physical expression of the worlds, games and communities Blizzard has built over decades.
The challenge was to translate that into a live environment at enormous scale.
Multiple stages, experiences, broadcasts, competitions, announcements, talent and communities all needed their own identity while still feeling like part of one BlizzCon.
And every decision had to work for two audiences at once: the fans walking through the doors in Anaheim and the global community experiencing BlizzCon through the screen.
THE WORK
OS worked with Blizzard from the earliest stages of development through the final live show.
We helped create the experience, designed the environments, developed the production approach, fabricated and built the physical spaces, engineered the technical systems and delivered the live and broadcast production across the convention.
That meant bringing creative, experiential, scenic, fabrication, technical production, broadcast and content together under one production structure.
Stages and environments moved from drawings and renders into physical spaces. Technical plans became working production systems. Content, cameras, control rooms, screens, lighting, audio and show teams were connected across a complex live environment.
Then the doors opened and it all had to perform.
Across the weekend, OS teams operated throughout BlizzCon, delivering the Opening Ceremony, live programming, broadcasts and experiences that brought Blizzard and its community together.
THE RESULT
BlizzCon 2026 was the culmination of months of creative development, design, engineering, fabrication and production.
For OS, it represented one of the most complete expressions of our capabilities to date.
We did not arrive at the end of the process to produce a show.
We were there from the beginning, working alongside Blizzard to create the experience, design it, build it and ultimately bring it to life.
From concept to audience.
That is what full-cycle production looks like.
